With 20 years serving Carmel Clay Schools, Elizabeth Elliott, LCSW, has redefined what it means to be a School Social Worker. A leader in social-emotional and behavioral programming, Elizabeth has driven systems change across Tier I, II, and III supports, guiding the school toward a more connected, student-centered culture.
Elizabeth's innovations include school wide adoption of Community Circle time, the Skills for Success Framework for K–5, and customized classroom lessons. She created “Leadership Labs,” empowering grades 3–5 to learn leadership skills and mentor younger students. Most recently, Elizabeth has led a data-driven transformation in student regulation and connection supports, collaborating with teachers to create common skill criteria and tailoring small-group instruction for maximum impact.
A respected voice for over ten years in the Indiana School Social Work Association (INSSWA), Elizabeth has served in leadership roles and continuously advances her expertise through professional learning. Her contributions extend to the Equity and Inclusion team, unifying PBIS with culturally responsive teaching practices.
