INSSWA is thrilled to present Representative Ed Delaney with the INSSWA 2024 Legislator of the Year Award. We all offer our most sincere thanks to Representative Delaney for his efforts in supporting students and social workers this year.
Our 2024 recipient of the INSSWA Legislator of the Year is Representative Edward DeLaney. He was a strong advocate for School Social workers & we are especially grateful for his steadfast support of our efforts to broaden the definition of a “teacher” to include school social workers for the purposes of the budget calculations in HB 1591 during the 2024 legislative session.
