Crystal Haslett

to our 2019 Indiana

School Social Worker of the Year

Crystal Haslett, School Social Worker at North Central High School with the MSD of Washington Township in Indianapolis.  Crystal has worked as a social worker in her district for 18 years.  Crystal’s colleagues described her as a dedicated, compassionate, and genuine social worker, who sincerely cares about families.  She is a mentor to colleagues and advocated for more social workers in the district.  She does a great job of carrying out her district level duties, while still meeting the direct service needs in her building.  She serves as the McKinney-Vento Liaison and advocates for services for families and youth in transition.  Crystal understands the needs of her students and keeps up on changing trends.  She is committed and dedicated to her school, community, and profession.

Congratulations
