Fall Conference

Each fall, INSSWA hosts its Annual Fall Conference — a full-day event bringing together School Social Workers from across Indiana for a day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth. The conference features a keynote address from a distinguished speaker alongside a series of workshops focused on current issues and best practices in school social work. Attendees have the opportunity to earn CEUs, explore exhibitor tables from partnering organizations, and connect with peers who share their passion for supporting students and families. INSSWA members enjoy a significantly reduced registration rate, making it an accessible and high-value event for all members. Click the link below to learn more about the Fall Conference.

Regional Meetings

Throughout the school year, INSSWA’s Regional Representatives host local meetings for school social workers across Indiana’s various regions. These gatherings are a low-key way to stay connected to peers in your area, hear updates relevant to your region, and earn CEUs without the commitment of a full-day event. Each region receives dedicated INSSWA funding to support these meetings, and all current members are welcome to attend at no charge. Non-members are also welcome, though a small fee may apply for CEU credit. Click the link below to connect with the INSSWA Regional Representatives in your area.

Scholarship Opportunities

SSWAA & Midwest Conferences

Expanding your professional network beyond Indiana is one of the most rewarding investments you can make in your practice. Each year, both the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) and the Midwest Council of School Social Workers host multi-day conferences held in cities across the country, featuring: keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with school social workers from around the nation. INSSWA offers scholarships to help offset the cost of attending either conference for eligible full members, with the number and amount of awards determined by the INSSWA Board based on available funds each year.
